AS a features. maybe some power ups like super donas which round finding the police car. some crazy people who didn't receive donuts trying to destroy the car. and something to recover the car. in crisis moments.
I ONLY WISH TO BRING JOYOUS BOSTON CREAM TO THE PEOPLE! WHY MUST I FIGHT DAY AND NIGHT FOR MY RIGHT TO SPREAD MY JELLY JOY!? I AM THE DONUT MAN! I WILL NOT BE SILENCED!!!
Great game! The difficulty felt a little too easy though, it started to feel repetitive before I finished my first run through. the cops don't do nearly enough damage to make them a threat, some kind of road hazard to dodge would have been cool too.
Great game. The carnage is SWEET (in more ways than one lol). If you have any plans to expand on this, I would suggest maybe adding temporary power ups, achievements, and/or donut truck customization. 5/5
Thanks for the feedback and suggestions! Now I have a plan to expand all my game jam games and when I reach this one I necessarily will add power ups, customization, new locations, achievements, and so on.
Wow, it's incredible to see such appeal in a game made in such a short period! The gameplay is satisfying, the graphics look great, and the animations are top notch. I love that the truck "stretches" a little bit when you move around, and its quite clear you didn't take any shortcuts with the game's design. It's definitely fun for a few minutes and even might be worth revisiting. Thank you for sharing this clever little concept. Keep up the good work!
Hii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful to you :D
-The concept of the game is pretty fun.
-The game has good gameplay mechanics, but adding a coins system related to the scores could give the game more replayability if you add cosmetics or power ups in a "shop menu".
-The visual style is pretty great and totally fits the theme of the game, you could add more "zones" to the background image with some transitions to make the game longer.
Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)
Thank you so much for the video and useful feedback! It is a big honor for me! I totally agree with you, if I will continue the development of this game I will definitely implement all these features!
Thanks for trying to play, I'm so sorry, but I don't know how to help you(
I use Windows and I exported this game for Linux without any possibility to test it. Some kind people told me how to export correctly but I can't upload it until the end of the jam.
Quick fix: download the web version from itch app and enjoy the game. For senpai (Skinner Space): I have the same problem too. Can you try to use some kind of virtual machine or some kind of dual boots for testing it. I think install some things like Pop OS or Ubuntu not take that long, but it's help our experience smoother. Btw, your game is fun! Thanks you for making this game, love it!
I made all sounds and music. I do sound editing in Audacity, just picking up random fx from the internet, mix them, change pitch, reverberation, and so on, so that sounds will fit actions in the game. I make soundtracks by using DJEN (random generator of guitar riffs), I just set instruments, some combination of notes, and then generate a couple of hundreds of fragments, choose the best ones, and make a whole track out of them in Audacity.

It is really strange, probably a bug, but there is no any reasonable problem in code
Thanks!

Good to hear, thanks ^^ You are welcome :D
Hey,
How can I run the game on Linux?
I found a some Asset-Directories (Music, Sounds...) and some other files:
"default_bus_layout.tres", "default_env.tres", "git_api.gdnlib", "git_api.gdns", "icon.png.import" and "project.binary".
Do i need to compile something or install a additional Framework?
Thanks in advance!

Hilarious concept, lots of juice and well polished. Nice job lol
Thanks!
Really fun and brutal arcade game. I felt that the movement speed of the van could've been increased a little but it was still cool and funny lol.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad to see that you like it!
Also, I forgot to mention,
The sound design is so brutal and satisfying lol. That music though, my gawd. Did you make that music or did you get it from elsewhere ?
